The Venue

The Sports Centre has five large swimming pools: the competition pool, the training pool, the synchronized swimming and water polo pool, the diving pool, and the underwater diving pool.

The Sports Centre also has two secondary pools: the warm-up pool and the wading pool, which is equipped with a water fountain and slides for young children.

The permanent stands have 2,777 seats for watching swimming and diving competitions. From inside the Sports Centre, one is struck by the size of the roof covering the seven pools.
