Synchro Canada would like to congratulate a member of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Sheilagh Croxon, who has been nominated by the Canadian Olympic Committee for the 2010 International Olympic Committee Women and Sport Trophy.

The trophy is awarded every year at the World level and at each Continental levels to an individual or an organization for outstanding contributions to the advancement of women in sport.

Respected synchronised swimming coach across Canada, Sheilagh Croxon has been selected for the Continental (Americas) level.

The International Olympic Committee Women and Sports Commission, chaired by Anita DeFrantz, will announce the recipients in Lausanne, Switzerland, at a date still to be determined in 2010.
