London welcomes swimmers for Espoir Championships |

London, ON will be welcoming athletes from across the country this weekend for the Espoir Synchronized Swimming Championships.
The championships, held at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, will feature over 300 athletes competing in Solo, Duet, Team and Combo. A spectacular Watershow featuring the category winners on Saturday, June 6 at 7 pm will showcase the athleticism, artistry and grace of these athletes.
The event will also support Autism Ontario - London by bringing awareness and support to this developmental disability.
Held annually, the Espoir Championships is the most elite of competitions among junior-level synchronized swimmers in Canada. “Tier 6” is the second highest level of synchronized swimming in the country.
Events get underway Thursday starting with Tier 6 16 & Over Figures and run right through the evening with the Tier 6 15 & Under Duet Preliminaries as well as the Tier 6 16 & Over Solo Preliminaries.
