  3. Car rental agreement that members can take advantage of
    Synchro Canada invites all its members to take advantage of this multi national sport organizations agreement with National and Enterprise. By subscribing to the National and Enterprise Emerald Club, which is totally free, you'll have those benefits:

    1. North American consistent pricing for National and Enterprise (more details: http://www.synchro.ca/images/stories/documents/Newsletter/national_enterprise_synchro_canada.pdf)

    2. Fee for Additional Drivers has been waived ($11.00)

    3. Fee for One day rentals has been waive  ($7.00)

    4. Fee for Young drivers has been waived ($25.00 per day)

    5. City Surcharge fees for Calgary ($5.00), Edmonton ($5.00), Vancouver ($3.00), Toronto ($5.00), Montreal ($3.00), Winnipeg ($3.00) and Halifax ($3.00) have been waived.

    6. Best Rating for National Car Rental. If there is a lower price in the system than the “negotiated contracted rate”, you automatically get that price (3-4 % total cost savings in Canada, 7-8% cost savings in the USA)No Energy Recovery Fees

    7. Contract includes Mini-van and SUV pricing

    8. Any car classes not listed in the agreement for National Car Rental receive automatic 15% off discount/ 20% off in USA.

    9. Weekly rates calculated at 6 X the daily rate (one day free)

    10. Monthly rates calculated at 24 X the daily rate (up to 7 days free)

    11. Fee for Emerald Club waived

    12. Choose your own vehicle and collect reward miles or rental credits.

    13. Enterprise can ”pick you up”

    Newfoundland and Labrador
    The 2008-2009 Mount Pearl Tier 6 team has been named Mount Pearl Team of the Year at the 21st Annual Focus On Youth Awards Show, May 12, 2010. The team, ranked according to their community involvement, school performance and athletic performance, beat three other sporting teams. Congratulations to Laura Osmond, Gillian Sullivan, Jessica Reid, Robyn French, Jessica McCormick, Laura Ings, Melissa Good, Jessica Collins and their coaches. Here is the presentation text: In their first crack on the national stage, the Mount Pearl Synchro Tier 6 Team won the Gold Medal at the Eastern Atlantic Divisional in Toronto. This team is very dedicated to their sport, spending on average 13 pool hours, 4 martial arts hours and 3 gymnastic hours in training each week. The group is also very active in the community and regularly participates in food drives and fundraisers.
