| Burnaby welcoming nearly 70 athletes at the 2010 Synchro Canada Canadian Masters Nationals |

Ottawa, June 16, 2010 – Nearly 70 synchronized swimmers between 22 and 73 years old will be at the Margaret & Paul Savage Aquatic Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia, for the 2010 Synchro Canada Canadian Masters Nationals. Presented by the Vancouver Masters Synchronized Swimming club, Synchro BC and Synchro Canada, the event will host competitors from 11 clubs in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, as from Seattle, U.S.A. The athletes will compete in the solo, duet, trio, team and combo events in different categories. Competitions will be presented from 11 am to 4 pm Saturday, and from 9 am to 11:30 am Sunday. A swimmer is in the « master » category if she is 19 years old or older and if she is not competing in the Synchro Canada Tier system.
