  1. Happy Canada Day!
    Synchro Canada wishes you a great Canada Day! The Synchro Canada office will be closed for Canada Day and open Friday.

  2. Call bid for the 2011 Canadian Espoir Championships
    Synchro Canada is currently accepting bids to host the 2011 for the Espoir Championship and 13 – 15 National Team Trials. Application deadline is July 15, 2010. More details: http://www.synchro.ca/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&id=52&Itemid=38&lang=english.

  3. Rule Changes

  4. Braley Traub added to the 2010 Junior National Team
    Braley Traub (Calgary Aquabelles) from Irricana, Alberta, joins the 2010 Junior National Team to prepare for the 2010 FINA World Junior Championships. Braley, who was the first substitute from her results at the trials, replaces Camille Bourgeois-Lessard who is injured and is unable to train at 100%. Synchro Canada would like to welcome Braley Traub to the National Team!

    Synchro Canada and Camille Bourgeois-Lessard expect she will have a complete recovery, but unfortunately she is unable to participate fully in the training camp or the 2010 FINA World Junior Championships.  As an original member of the Junior National team, she will continue to receive the necessary support from Synchro Canada until the end of the summer. Synchro Canada wishes her a speedy recovery.

  5. 13-15 National Team athletes blog

  9. July 1st to 4th: donate $2 in support of the Canada Games
    The Forzani Group, Ltd., Canada’s largest national retailer of sporting goods, has extended its support of the Canada Games to include fundraising efforts as part of a Canada Day promotion with its corporate and franchise locations across Canada. From July 1 to July 4, donate $2 to support the Canada Games at any corporate Sport Chek, Sport Mart, Atmosphere, Hockey Experts or Athlete’s World store and receive $5 off your next purchase. In Quebec, franchise Sports Experts, Atmosphere and Hockey Experts locations will match your donation when you donate $2 in support of the Canada Games. Every dollar that is raised through the promotion will go directly to help fund the Canada Games Movement.

  10. Sports Movement agrees on unified strategy to tackle irregular betting
    Under the leadership of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the sports movement agreed on a series of recommendations aimed at protecting and maintaining the integrity of sport if and when put at risk by irregular betting.   11. Join the AthletesCAN Board of Directors
    AthletesCAN is inviting all interested persons to apply for nomination for their board of directors. Two positions will be up for election at the 2010 AthletesCAN Forum, October 28 – October 31 in Gatineau, QC.
