| 16 athletes remain in contention for Synchro Canada’s 2011 National Junior Team |

Ottawa, May 26, 2011 – The list of contenders for Synchro Canada’s 2011 National Junior Team was reduced to 16 and they will vie for the final 12 positions on the squad at a training camp in Montreal June 26 to July 2 . At the Canadian Open Championships from April 27 to May 1 in Calgary, the top-25 in junior figures were invited to perform a new figures routine and an individual routine. From those performances, the top-16 were ranked an invited to attend the one-week camp at which Synchro Canada, 2011 national junior team coach Jenn Tregale (Calgary, Calgary Aquabelles) and assistant coaches Maude Pelchat (Laval, Dollard Synchro) and Johana Vasquez (Terrebonne, Montréal Synchro) will determine the 12-member team.
