|Montreal to welcome more than 100 synchronized swimmers for the 2011 Canadian Masters Championships|
Ottawa, June 14th, 2011 – Synchronized swimmers between the age of 19 to 71 will be competing at the 2011 Canadian Masters Championships which will be held on June 18th and 19th at the Hochelaga Swimming Pool in Montreal (1870, Davidson).
The competition will be hosted by the Club Aquatique Édouard-Montpetit and Synchro Québec, under the leadership of Synchro Canada and the supervision of Isabelle Rampling, member of the 2008 Olympic team and meet manager.
The 2011 Canadian Masters Championships will feature 106 athletes from 18 clubs coming from Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec, competing in the solo, duet, trio, team and combo events in different age categories.
A synchronized swimmer competes in the « master » category if she is 19 years old or older and if she is not competing in the Synchro Canada Tier system.
