Ottawa, August 2, 2011 – Synchro Canada’s 2011 13-15 National Team is in Busto Arizo, Italy, this week for the 2011 Comen Cup, the most important annual international competition in this age group.
The team members are:

RHÉAUME, Katherine (Montreal, Lachine, QC, Dollard Synchro)
SABOURIN, Myriam (La Prairie, QC, Montréal Synchro)
SIMONEAU, Jacqueline (Montreal, Saint-Laurent, QC, Montréal Synchro)
SLAVIN, Erica (Calgary, AB, Calgary Aquabelles)
WONG, Kali (Calgary, AB, Calgary Aquabelles)
The 10-member squad is led by Synchro Canada’s 2011 13-15 National Team head coach Elena Podolsky (Toronto, ON, Olympium Synchro) with assistant coaches Nathalie Lagrange (Saint-Léonard, QC, Montréal Synchro) and Kara Kalin (Richmond, B.C., Vancouver Pacific Wave). The 2011 National 13-15 Team was selected following a camp which concluded July 6 in Etobicoke.
Jacqueline Simoneau will also took part in this competition in the solo event. She will also compete in duet with Anne-Marie Chouinard.
Madeleine Ramsay (Merville, B.C.) and Jacqueline Hiscock (Portugal Cove, N.L.) has been appointed as judge for the competition.
At the 2010 Comen Cup in Greece, Canada won two medals. Jacqueline Simoneau won gold in solo and silver in duet with Anne-Marie Chouinard. Canada was fourth in the team event.
