  1. 2012 Western Divisionals Championships
    Check out the second information package of the 2012 Eastern/Atlantic Divisionals Championships.

  2. 2011-2012 Club Excellence Program
    Details about Synchro Canada’s 2011-2012 Club Excellence Program are available. Deadline for application is February 24, 2012. Download the documents including an overview of this year’s program and different checklists.

  3. Khadija Cutcher: new High Performance Coordinator
    Synchro Canada is pleased to announce that Khadija Cutcher will be taking the new role of High-Performance Coordinator until August 2012 to replace the position of High Performance Manager and until the implementation of the new 2016 Quadrennial Plan starting in September 2012. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Khadija will coordinate all aspects of the National Team Programs specific to the Senior B, Junior and 13-15 National Teams. The Senior National A Team will be directly under the supervision of the CEO until the end of the Olympic Games in August 2012. Khadija Cutcher has previously been in the role of expert in athlete development in Western Canada. Jennifer Langlois, expert in athlete development in Eastern Canada, will have both roles.   4. Job opportunity at Synchro Canada
    Synchro Canada invites high performance coaches (NCCP Level 3-4-5 or equivalent) with proven international coaching success to apply for the positions of National Team Assistant Coach at the Center of Excellence located in Montréal. This is a full time position and a maternity leave replacement contract that should commence early February 2012 and end in September 2012. Deadline for application is January 31st, 2012.   5. 2012 FINA World Masters Championships
    Athletes interested in taking part in the 2012 FINA World Masters Championships, which will be held June 3-17 in Riccione, Italy, need to fill out an International Bid Submission Form on the International Bid Competition page on our Website. This process also applies for every team or athletes who want to take part in a competition outside of Canada. Check out the international competition calendar on that same page.   6. Study on the New Competition-Development Multisport Modules
    Dr Diane Culver, Dr Penny Werthner and Dr Pierre Trudel of the University of Ottawa are leading a study on the quality and impact of the national coaching certification program new competition-development multisport modules. If you are a coach who went through the new Competition-Development program and would like to take part in this study, please find more information in the Coaches section on our Website.

  7. Support the 2014 FINA World Masters Championships in Montreal
    Support the 2014 FINA World Masters Championships in Montreal by helping the host organizing committee to receive a grant from the program “Our Community Cheer” implemented by Molson Coors, which will be used to buy new technical equipment for all four aquatic federations that can be used immediately by competitors of every age. Then, you can vote by clicking the dot next to the two hands. You can vote from as many email addresses as you want. The voting period ends on February 17th!
