Samantha Nealon started synchronized swimming in 2004 when a a friend from grade school, who was doing synchronized swimming recreationally, asked her to come to one of her practices.
Since then, she likes synchronized swimming for its artistic side and the opportunity that everyone is able to put their own ideas in the creation of the routine.
Samantha Nealon was a member of the Junior National Team in 2011 and 2012 and represented Canada at the 2012 FINA World Junior Championships in Greece, which is her favourite memory so far in this sport.
The athlete from Morriston, Ontario, is in the Child Studies program at Concordia University. She sould like to be a primary school teacher.
Her objective is to take part in the Olympic Games. |
