Lisa Sanders started synchronized swimming in 2004 after a neighbour invited her to a "Try Synchro" event.
She says she loved it from the start because synchronized swimming offered an increased challenge, the camaraderie with teamates, this sport pushes your limits on a daily basis, the intensity of the training and the fantastic challenge the drive to perfect routines.
Lisa Sanders has been a member of the 2011 and 2012 Junior National Team. One of her best memories so far is her experience at the 2012 FINA World Junior Championships.
She says that her secret talent is to be a wonderful cook and baker. She even used to write a blog with her sister! After her career, she would like to pursue her interest in business; maybe someday she will open her own bakery!
Her objectives in synchronized swimming include to perform to the best of her ability, always working to enhance her skills, and to work toward participating in Olympic Games. |
