Gabriella Brisson started synchronized swimming in 2001. While attending summer camp at her local pool, she enjoyed watching the synchronized swimming team training during free time. She was immediately drawn to the sport.

She says that she loves synchronized swimming because it is so unique; it requires physical strength mixed with artistic abilities.

Gabriella Brisson, who enjoys playing guitar in her spare time, was a member of the 2009, 13-15 National Team and the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Junior National Team. The bronze medal in the team event she won at the 2010 FINA World Junior Championships is still her best memory to date. She also took part in the 2012 FINA World Junior Championships.

She would like to pursue a career in the biological sciences. Until then, her ultimate goal is to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games.
