At the 2010 FINA World Junior Championships, as a member of the Junior National Team, she won two bronze medals, one in solo with Emilia Kopcik and the other one in the team event, which is still her best memory so far in her career.
She qualified for the Centre of Excellence and for Synchro Canada’s Senior National B team in the Fall of 2011.
Rachel Fréchette is studying in Human Sciences, administration option, at the Collège Montmorency with the objective to be a business manager. In January 2011, she will start a degree in administration at Concordia University. She may be influenced by her father, president of a food company, and her mother, who also works there. Her sister, also a synchronized swimmer for seven years, is a chef and will soon be a pastry chef. She also has two brothers and the oldest one played baseball for 14 years, including in the junior level.
Rachel likes to sing in her free time. She recorded an album with her mother and sister. She is working on her second one.
